Clean-Up Day

Monthly Clean-Up Activity is held on the Thursday prior to Sizzle & Pot Luck.  We welcome all members to contribute to keeping our Shed clean, tidy, and safe!

Current & On-Going Projects

A series of classes for members to learn how to safely use a wood lathe.  Instructors Randy W. and Warren N.   After more classes over several weeks, these members hope to earn their certification to use the lathe!   More photos in our Photo Gallery.

Raised Planter Boxes for Community Garden

These planter boxes are assembled entirely of free sourced materials.  Repurpose rocks!

Various Craft Builds

Table top Christmas tree cut outs.  Convenient flat-pack assembly.

Bandsaw Box Class

Lead by VP Jonathan Okabe, a group of members learned how to make a heart-shaped box on the bandsaw.

Pallet Wood Sign

Walton re-learned how to use the chop saw and drill to cut pallet wood and assemble into a rustic sign in a project led by Harvey.  Finished project is hanging in the Shed Shoppe.

Roof repair project for Lanakila Seniors Center.

Lead by Mark Campbell, ACS Secretary, this turned out to be a two day project repairing the roof.  He arranged for purchase  and delivery of materials and supplies,  work crew recruitment, and coordination with the center.  The second day is on Tuesday July 19th.

Bench project for Pearl Haven.

Lead by Jonathan Okabe, ACS VP, this project entails building of 5 benches for the center.  Work is on-going so look for project day announcements.  See either Mark Campbell or Jonathan Okabe for instruction.
